IAS / School of Science Joint Lecture - Shaping Tumor Cell Plasticity and Therapy Resistance in Glioblastoma
Abstract
Tumor heterogeneity fueled by plasticity and genetic diversification of cancer cells is key to therapy failure of malignant glioma. The speaker's team implemented spatial and genetic platforms at single cell resolution to explore the trajectory of evolution of glioblastoma.…
OCES Departmental Seminar: Global overturning circulation constrained by tidal mixing map
Internal tides power much of the observed small-scale turbulence in the ocean interior. Here we present a global 3D map of tidal mixing that incorporates both the local and remote dissipation of internal tides. The map compares well with available mixing estimates across the globe.

Department of Mathematics - Seminar on Pure Mathematics - Presentations of Quantum Affine Algebras and Extended Quantum Affine Algebras
Quantum affine algebras are quantum enveloping algebras of affine Lie algebras, introduced independently by Drinfeld and Jimbo in their study of the Yang-Baxter equation.
