About the Speakers



Dr. Jones Wan is a Senior Data Scientist at Shell. Before joining Shell he worked at Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) and the Bank of the East Asia as data science lead. Dr. Wan began his career as a data scientist and has led & managed more than 50 international projects in different industries. Dr. Wan has more than 10 years of experience in technical development and business development with in-depth knowledge of regression, classification, and machine learning algorithms. He received a PhD in Physics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and postdoctoral training at HKUST.
