Following the success of the Virtual Science Talks organized last year, HKUST School of Science is delighted to launch another round of virtual talks this Spring, which will cover various interesting scientific topics with an aim to allow our prospective students to get a taste of university learning experience. Prospective students are most welcome to join the event and meet our faculty members who will share with you some frontier scientific development and its relevance to daily life. Each science talk will couple with an admission talk and sharing session, which is a good opportunity for participants to understand more about our programs and the campus life at HKUST.

A total of 12 talks and sharing sessions will be conducted on Zoom during the period of 2 March to 25 April 2022. These comprise a diverse range of topics in the subject areas of chemistry, life science, ocean science, mathematics and physics. This year, we have added some special new topics. You will surely find them inspiring and fascinating.
