Seminar on Applied Mathematics - Stabilization of infinite-dimensional linear control systems by POD reduced-order Riccati feedback
There exist many ways to stabilize an infinite-dimensional linear autonomous control systems when it is possible. Anyway, finding an exponentially stabilizing feedback control that is as simple as possible may be a challenge.

Seminar on Applied Mathematics - Characterization of stabilization by observability inequalities of stabilization
Given a linear control system in a Hilbert space with a bounded control operator, we establish a characterization of exponential stabilizability in terms of an observability inequality.

Seminar on Applied Mathematics - Mixed Finite Element Methods of Elasticity Problems
The problems that are most frequently solved in scientific and engineering computing may probably be the elasticity equations. The finite element method (FEM) was invented in analyzing the stress of the elastic structures in the 1950s.
