Scholarship Scheme for International / Asian Olympiad Medalists
To honor the outstanding achievements of medalists in International / Asian Olympiad competitions, the University is offering scholarships to medalists who are admitted to the Joint School Program (BIBU / MAEC). Details are as follows:

Granting of scholarship is subject to the final decision of School of Science and School of Business and Management.

The maximum scholarship limit for each student is full tuition plus living allowance of HK$60,000 per annum.
HKUST offers a number of scholarships to support students realizing their dreams. For newly admitted students, we award admissions scholarships to outstanding students on a competitive merit basis. These awards may be one-off or renewable, full or partial tuition waivers. Applicants will be notified of the scholarship decision together with the admissions offer.
After begin studying at HKUST, students will have many other scholarship opportunities. These scholarships are to recognize their academic and non-academic achievement, which will require application and/or nomination. Around 19% of students received more than one scholarship.
