The School of Science Awards 2024/25 were presented to faculty members and teaching track faculty in recognition of their exceptional achievements in teaching, research, and service. This year, the awards were presented by Prof. WONG Yung Hou, Dean of Science, during the School Board Meeting on May 15, 2025. The awardees received their honors amidst enthusiastic applause from their colleagues, celebrating their accomplishments.
Notably, two faculty members, Prof. LU Haipeng, Assistant Professor from the Department of Chemistry, and Prof. Angela WU Ruohao, Associate Professor from the Division of Life Science, were honored with the School Research Award, recognizing their equally impressive research achievements at their respective career stages. Prof. Ivan IP Chi Ho, Associate Professor from the Department of Mathematics, received the School Teaching Award for his outstanding teaching performance and significant contributions to curriculum development, student advising, and outreach efforts. Prof. JIA Guocheng, Chair Professor from the Department of Chemistry, was awarded the School Service Award for his unwavering dedication to fostering collaboration, excellence, and strategic growth at the department, school and university levels.
