The School of Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) proudly presented the Teaching, Research, and Service Awards 2025/26 to celebrate the exceptional achievements and dedication of its faculty members.
The honors were formally conferred by Professor WONG Yung Hou, Dean of Science, during the School Board Meeting on 15 May, 2026, where colleagues joined in extending warm congratulations and enthusiastic applause to the awardees.
This year’s awards recognized three distinguished faculty members for their profound contributions:
- School Research Award: Professor Tuan Anh NGUYEN, Associate Professor in the Division of Life Science, was honored for his profound research achievements and contributions to the discipline.
- School Teaching Award: Professor Adrian PO, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, received the distinction for his outstanding instructional performance and significant contributions to curriculum development and student mentoring.
- School Service Award: Professor LIN Zhenyang, Chair Professor in the Department of Chemistry, was recognized for his unwavering dedication to fostering collaboration, academic excellence, and strategic growth across the department, school, and university levels.
