University Scholarship
Scholarship Scheme for JUPAS - HKDSE Students
To recognize the academic achievements of students, HKUST offers scholarships to HKDSE students admitted via the JUPAS scheme. The maximum scholarship limit for each student is full tuition plus living allowance of HK$60,000 per annum (excluding exchange scholarships).
For 2025/26 Intake, JUPAS students attaining Level 5**/5* in one or more Category A subjects or M1 / M2 in one single sitting of HKDSE will be eligible for a scholarship up to full tuition plus living allowance of HK$60,000 per annum. Students do not have to apply for the scholarships. Qualified students will be identified and informed of the scholarship awards in due course.

HKUST offers a number of scholarships to support students realizing their dreams. For newly admitted students, we award admissions scholarships to outstanding students on a competitive merit basis. These awards may be one-off or renewable, full or partial tuition waivers. Applicants will be notified of the scholarship decision together with the admissions offer.
After begin studying at HKUST, students will have many other scholarship opportunities. These scholarships are to recognize their academic and non-academic achievement, which will require application and/or nomination. Around 19% of students received more than one scholarship.
